When the Moon is in the Seventh House, and Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace shall guide the planets, and love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius ....

Aquarius happens every two thousand years, the last one coinciding with the arrival of Christ. Some believe he may even return at this time.  The Aquarius festival brought thousands of people to Nimbin and they developed an alternative lifestyle. A new a counter culture with utopian ideals. It was a revolution against society. The Age of Aquarius is about the revival of spirit, bringing a massive spiritual awakening. Disillusioned with formal religions a new spiritual practice was developed, based on love and peace. It was also a struggle to adapt to new energies . Letting go of old conditioning opening up to new ideas.  Now thirty years later technology has brought us computers and a means to connect, affirm and unite. Walter Mercado foresees that technology will spur a global revolution, enabling us to free our inner selves and reach the higher levels of the universe.` Full of spiritual love, caring and sharing,  Materialism, greed and power will be firmly renounced.. `So let the Age of Aquarius begin and allow a new age of peace on earth and good will to all men and women to dawn with love and let dusk descend on all bigotry, hypocrisy, prejudice and inequality. It is a new millennium. We will eliminate national and mental boundaries, we will be able to sense the unity of human-beings and the unity of this planet, and realize the existence of love and affection. Now begineth 2000 years of peace...Unity for peace

Conspiracies

"Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try,
no hell below us, above us only sky,
Imagine all the people, living for today.
Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do,
nothing to kill or die for, and no religion too,
Imagine all the people, living life in peace.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one,
I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one

Imagine if the 30th anniversary brings a new wave of young, energetic people who will  pursue the Aquarius dream (or a new dream) with renewed vigor. They could embrace our individual differences, delightfully oblivious of discrimination.  They might share and create abundance for all. We have moved on from the `I` generation when we learned to play the guitar and find ourselves. It is now the `We generation`. We sings songs like `We are one`  and `We are united for peace.` as again we protest for peace ! Last time Vietnam, this time Iraq. It is time to respect all life forms and do things for the greater good of the earth and mankind at large.

Age of Aquarius!
Harmony and understanding,
Sympathy and trust abounding.
No more falsehoods or derision,
Golden living, dreams of vision.
Mystic crystal revelations,
And the mind's true liberation.
Aquarius! Aquarius!
When the moon is in the southern half,
And Jupiter aligned with Mars.
Then peace will guide the planet,
And love will steer the stars.
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius!
Age of Aquarius!
Aquarius! Aquarius! Aquarius! Aquarius!"
